When a Customer pays by bank account (ACH), the payment doesn't clear right away. Most bank payments clear in 4–5 business days. The Pending Bank Payments report shows every bank payment that has been submitted but hasn't cleared yet, so you can see what's still on its way and catch any payments that are taking too long.
How to Access the Report
Click Reports in the left menu
Select Pending Bank Payments
Payment Age Summary
At the top of the report, four summary cards group your pending payments by how many business days have passed since they were submitted. Each card shows the total dollar amount and the number of payments in that group.
0–3 business days — Recently submitted. No action needed.
4–5 business days — Within the normal clearing window. Most payments clear during this time.
6–8 business days (late) — Taking longer than usual. Keep an eye on these.
Over 8 business days (stuck) — Well past the normal clearing window and may need follow-up.
Payments Table
Below the summary cards, the Payments table lists each pending bank payment. The total amount and number of pending payments appear in the top right corner of the table.
Payer — The Primary Account Holder who made the payment. Click the name to open their Billing page.
Amount — The payment amount
Submitted — The date the payment was submitted
Age (business days) — How many business days the payment has been pending
Invoices — The Invoice number(s) the payment applies to
Reference — The payment processor's reference ID for the payment
NOTE: While a bank payment is pending, the Invoice(s) in the Invoices column show Paid – ACH Pending under Paid Invoices on the Invoices page and the Customer’s Billing page. When the payment clears, the status changes to Paid. If the bank rejects the payment, the Invoice becomes current again. Learn more in About Invoices: Statuses, Payment Allocation, and Future Totals.
By default, the table is sorted by Age, with the oldest payments at the top. Click the Payer, Amount, Submitted, Age, or Reference column header to sort by that column instead. Use Rows per page at the bottom of the table to show more or fewer payments at once.
TIP: Click the refresh icon in the top right corner of the report to load the latest payment statuses.
What to Do About Late or Stuck Payments
If a payment shows as late or stuck, click the Payer's name to review their Billing page. The related Invoice will still show Paid – ACH Pending until the payment clears or is rejected. If a payment stays stuck, contact Enrollsy Support and include the payment's Reference ID so we can look into it with the payment processor.
