Class details rarely stay static. Names change, Instructors come and go, schedules shift, and capacity needs to flex with demand. This guide walks you through every common Class edit in Enrollsy, including how the changes flow through to your Enroll Form, Browse page, and Class Reminder emails.
In this article you'll learn how to:
Edit Class information (name, image, Instructor, capacity, description, schedule, email reminder)
Update Class dates and schedules (weekly recurrence or pick-specific-dates)
Change what appears on the Enrollment Confirmation email
Adjust Class capacity
Re-order Class Selection Lists (Multi-List View)
Delete a Class safely
Edit Class Information
Use this workflow any time you need to change the basic details of a Class — for example, when an Instructor changes or you want to rename a Class for the new season.
To edit Class details, follow these steps:
Open the Classes page from the left menu, select the Program, and then the Class.
Click the pencil icon next to the Class you want to edit.
A side panel opens where you can edit:
Class name
Image
Instructor(s)
Capacity
Class Description
Class Start and End Time (only one time range can be entered per Class — use separate Classes for variable times)
Class Dates
Email Reminder
When you're done, click Save.
Remove "List" from Class Details
Remove "List" from Class Details
If the word "list" appears on your Enroll Form, your Program was likely set up as a Multi-List program previously. Class selection lists aren't automatically deleted when the Enrollment Model changes, so follow these steps:
Go to Programs and temporarily change the Enrollment Model back to Multi-List.
On the Classes page, click the pencil icon on EACH Class and deselect the Class selection list.
Return to Programs and switch the Enrollment Model back to your preferred model.
Edit Class Dates or Schedule
Whether your Class recurs weekly or meets on specific dates, you can adjust the schedule from the same Class editor.
Prefer to watch? See the video for how to edit Class dates.
NOTE: Class dates set in the past will prevent the Class from appearing on the Enroll Form or Browse page.
If every date in a Class is in the past, a red "All dates are in the past" badge will appear next to the Class.
To edit Class dates, navigate to the Classes page (this may be labeled Sessions, Groups, etc. if you've customized it). Click the pencil icon in the upper-right corner of the Class editor, then scroll to the When Does Class Happen? section. Here you can update start/end times and the days or dates the Class meets.
Weekly Schedule (recurring)
Example: a Class meeting every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from December 6 to March 30.
Pick Dates (doesn't recur)
Example: a Class that meets on specific, hand-picked calendar dates.
Class Dates on the Enrollment Confirmation Email
The Class Reminder email automatically pulls dates, times, and Instructor information from the Class itself, so editing the Class is all you need to do.
Class dates, times, and Instructors are pulled directly into the Enrollment confirmation email. Here's an example of what enrollees receive:
The next reminder email will automatically reflect the new schedule.
Change Class Capacity
Capacity is the maximum number of Enrollees a Class (and by extension, its Program) can hold.
To change Class capacity, head to the Classes page and follow these steps:
Select the Program from the left side. Click the dropdown arrow beside the Class, or click the Class name.
Click the pencil icon to open the Class settings.
Edit the number under Capacity, then click Save.
NOTE: A Program's capacity is the sum of its Classes' capacities. Capacity cannot be set on the Program itself at this time.
Re-Order Class Selection Lists
Prefer to watch? See the video for how to edit Class selection lists.
This applies only when your Program uses the Multi-List View enrollment model — for example, when Enrollees pick a day-of-week list (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) during enrollment.
If your Program is set up as a Multi-List View under the Enrollment Model:
…you'll also have Class Selection Lists like this (your lists may be named differently):
You can reorder these lists by following the steps below. This must be repeated for each Program — it cannot be done in bulk.
On the Programs page, click the pencil icon beside the Program.
In the Program editor, click Enrollment Model in the left menu.
Scroll to the Class Selection Lists block (shown above). Click Add/Remove selection list, then click and hold the dots next to a Class Selection and drag it to reorder.
Click outside the popover to close it, then click Save to apply your changes.
Delete a Class
Deleting a Class is permanent — but Enrollsy will guide you through removing enrollments first so you don't accidentally delete active rosters.
NOTE: A Class can only be deleted when it has zero Enrollees. You'll need to reassign or remove all Enrollments first.
To delete a Class:
Step 1 - Open the Classes Page
Head to your Classes page (left menu).
Step 2 - Remove Enrollees
Use the select all checkbox at the top of the Class. The button you'll see next depends on your Program's Enrollment Model:
Reassign Button (Simple Enrollment Model) — Moves Enrollees to another Class in the same Program or to the Unassigned List.
Reassign / -Day Buttons (Days per Week Enrollment Model) — Reassign behaves the same as above; -Day removes the Enrollee from that specific day only.
-Class Button (Classes Enrollment Model) — Removes the Enrollee from that Class.
NOTE: IIf the Enrollee is not in another Class in that Program, they'll move to the Unassigned List. If the Enrollee IS in another Class within that Program, they'll simply be removed from this Class and won't show on the Unassigned List (they're still enrolled elsewhere in the same Program).
Step 3 - Delete the Class
Once the Class is empty, click the pencil icon to open the Class editor, then click Delete Class. Confirm the warning prompt to permanently delete the Class.
