Fix Loading Issues, Frozen Buttons, or Display Problems in Enrollsy

Learn when to refresh, clear your browser cache, or use a private window to fix common issues

Written by Serena Edwards

A lot of issues admin users, instructors and/or customers experience using Enrollsy can be fixed by either refreshing or by clearing your browser cache. Common issues that clearing the cache can resolve include:

  • Entering payment information

  • Buttons not active (e.g. SMS, email, etc.) in the Admin portal

  • Creating an E-signature Document (Admin portal)

  • Pulling a Report (e.g. Accounts Export, Transactions Export, etc.)

  • Issues with seeing account or financial information in Customer Portal

  • Importing data into Enrollsy (Admin portal)

  • Formatting issues

  • Printing or downloading Activities Reports

Step 1 - Refresh the Page

A simple page refresh is the fastest fix for most issues in Enrollsy. It reloads the page from the server, often clearing up temporary glitches without affecting any of your saved data, logins, or browser history.

When to refresh the page

Try a refresh first whenever you experience:

  • A page that won't fully load or appears blank

  • Buttons that don't respond when clicked

  • A spinning loader that never finishes

  • Information that looks outdated or out of sync (e.g., a payment you just made not showing yet)

  • A form that won't submit

  • An error message that appeared once and may not happen again

If the issue continues after refreshing, move on to Step 2: Try a Private Browser Window or Step 3: Clear Your Browser Cache below.

Standard Refresh

A standard refresh reloads the page using whatever your browser already has stored.

  • Mac: Cmd + R

  • Windows: Ctrl + R (or press F5)

  • Or click the circular arrow icon next to your browser's address bar.

Hard Refresh (Recommended)

A hard refresh forces your browser to download fresh files from Enrollsy instead of using its stored copies. This is more effective than a standard refresh and is the best first step when something looks broken.

  • Mac (Chrome & Safari): Cmd + Shift + R

  • Windows (Chrome, Edge, Firefox): Ctrl + Shift + R (or Ctrl + F5)

Tip: A hard refresh won't sign you out of Enrollsy or delete any of your data — it just makes sure you're seeing the most current version of the page.

If a hard refresh doesn't resolve the issue, continue to the next step.

Step 2 - Try a Private Browser Window

A private window (also called Incognito in Chrome or Private Browsing in Safari) loads Enrollsy in a clean session — without using any of your stored cache, cookies, or browser extensions. It's a great way to tell whether your issue is caused by your browser's saved data or by something else.

When to use a private window

Try this step if a refresh didn't solve the problem and you want to:

  • Confirm the issue is related to your browser (not Enrollsy itself)

  • Rule out a browser extension or ad blocker as the cause

  • Quickly test something without clearing your cache or signing out of your normal session

  • Log in as a different user (e.g., as a customer) without affecting your admin login

What to expect

  • You'll need to sign in again — private windows don't share logins with your normal browser session.

  • Nothing you do in a private window is saved to your browser history or cache.

  • When you close the private window, the session ends.

Signing in after opening a private window

  3. Select New Incognito Window.

A new dark window will open — that's Incognito mode.

Did it work? If Enrollsy works correctly in a private window, the issue is likely with your browser's stored data or an extension. Continue to Step 3: Clear Your Browser Cache to fix it permanently in your normal browser. If it still doesn't work, contact Enrollsy Customer Support.

Step 3 - Clear Your Browser Cache

Your browser stores temporary files (the "cache") to help websites load faster. Over time, these files can become outdated or corrupted, which can cause Enrollsy to behave unexpectedly. Clearing the cache forces your browser to download fresh files the next time you visit Enrollsy.

When to clear your browser cache

Use this step if a refresh and a private window both confirmed the issue is on your browser's side. Common signs that clearing your cache will help:

  • Buttons or links don't respond, even after refreshing

  • Pages display old data or broken layouts

  • Payment, e-signature, or report forms won't submit or load

  • Enrollsy works correctly in a private/incognito window but not your regular browser

Before you clear your cache

  • You'll be signed out of most websites, including Enrollsy. Have your login info ready.

  • Saved form data (auto-fill suggestions, draft entries) for other sites may be lost.

  • Bookmarks, browser history, and saved passwords are not affected when you follow the steps below.

Tip: If you only want to clear cache for Enrollsy without affecting other sites, see "Clear Cache for Enrollsy Only" at the bottom of this section.

  7. Close and reopen Chrome.

  3. Right-click the refresh button in your browser's address bar.
