How to Edit Instructor Permissions

Learn how to add or delete permissions for your Instructor or Support staff

Sometimes Instructors leave and Instructors start. See this article if you need instructions on how to add a new Instructor or other staff member.

NOTE: If you edit a Role with different permissions, anyone else who has the SAME Role, permissions will be changed as well. If a staff member needs DIFFERENT permissions, then create a new Role for that person.

Permissions Available

The following are the permisssions available for Instructors and what each mean:

  • Edit Primary Account Holders - Can edit customer account information, which includes any Enroll Form questions that are under the Account section. This usually includes names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, etc.

  • Manage Classes - Can add, edit, or delete the Classes assigned to and make enrollment assignments. Instructors have to be added to the Class itself OR have the "can access all classes" setting turned on. See this article for steps on how to add Instructors to Classes.

  • View Unassigned - Can view the Enrollees listed on the Unassigned list on the Classes page. The above permission ("Manage Classes" must also be turned off as well for this permission to be effective. Instructors will still be able to view the number of unassigned Enrollees signified by the number in a red circle, but will not be able to view the list itself.

  • Manage Content - Can add, edit, or delete Class content for those Classes the Instructor is assigned to.

  • Setup Kiosk - Can setup kiosks
